How do i remove bad windows instalation from boot menu

I have windows xp pro coorparate (i thinks its "visat") anyways,i had a
failed attempt at an instalation. So now when i boot up i have 2 windows
instalations to choose to boot from. But 1 is not actaully a full copy, i
nfact its not really there. I imagine the failed attempt left a file
somewhere i need to remove.Does anybody know how to correct this?

Edit boot.ini to remove the second one from the list.
